Whitley Williams of Harper Woods, MI born and raised in Detroit, started her career in the Event industry over 7 years ago. Her very first event was her very own Baby Shower.

What started as her trying to save money by learning to do balloons for her baby shower, quickly lead her to find her passion for Event Design.

Whitley continued to follow her passion, where she later found her Love for wood work. Through trial and error and quite a few YouTube videos, Whitley became a self taught carpenter, specializing in building event props.

With the combination of her Event Design and Prop Building experience ; accompanied by newly opened, 4,900 sq. ft. event space, Venue Eight Oh Nine is a one stop shop for an event experience you'll never forget.
